The list below is a growing list local organizations started by MAAF members. MASH Chapters of the MAAF Network provide a supportive community with best practices for event ideas, group management, using fort/base logistics, and of course navigating what can sometimes be a hostile environment. This interconnected network of local organizations provides mentorship to inspire more organizations. As a national network of thousands of individuals, MAAF is strong, but as we combine forces in local organizations, we become so much stronger.

Off Post Community

While we are still standing up all of the local MASH chapters, we still encourage all military atheists to participate in some sort of civilian atheist community group. The legacy ‘MAAF Network’ has maintained a fairly extensive list, that is definitely worth checking out. This list also includes a few groups that have been going strong since before the MASH initiative launched, that actually are on post. Their migration to the MASH push is likely, and as that happens, they will populate the above list of MASH Chapters.
